Air Chief visits Command Hospital (Air Force), Bengaluru
Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, Chief of the Air Staff visited Command Hospital Air Force in Bengaluru on May 1, 2018 on the occasion of its Golden Jubilee Celebrations as the Hospital completed 50 years of its exceptional service in rendering Medicare facilities to service personnel as well as veterans and their families.
The Chief in his address appreciated the efforts put by all the personnel in bringing up the hospital to its present standards. The Hospital also acknowledged the efforts put up by its previous commandants and felicitated those present there in a befitting manner.
A Coffee Table Book – Swarnim was released by the Chief on the occasion. This was followed by the release of the First Day Cover.
Mrs Kamalpreet Dhanoa President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) inaugurated the newly revamped Centre of Excellence for Differently Abled Children and interacted with the families and children present there. She also visited the Hospital Crèche and appreciated the efforts made in setting up the centre.
The First Lady of the Indian Air Force also addressed the Sanginis about the present scenario of the Indian Air Force and motivated them in playing a supportive role to their serving counterparts. She also encouraged the Sanginis to participate in all Air Force Wives Welfare Association related activities of the Station that would go a long way in benefitting this organization.
