Smt Madhulika P Sukul, IDAS, Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), New Delhi visited CDA (IT & SDC), CDA, Secunderabad, CDA (R & D) Hyderabad offices during her tour to twin cities.
The CGDA reviewed the projects (IT & Systems) developed by CDA (IT & SDC) for automation of Pay & Allowances of JCOs/ORs of Indian Army & functioning of CDA (R&D), Regional and Functional Controller offices of Defence Accounts Department (DAD). She appreciated the efforts done by CDA (IT & SDC) for developing such projects.
CGDA also inaugurated the Voluntary Blood donation camp at PAO (ORs), AOC Multipurpose Hall organised by CDA, Secunderabad in coordination with Indian Red Cross Society, Hyderabad Chapter to help children suffering from Thalassemia and Leukemia (Blood Cancer) diseases. More than seventy officers and staff voluntarily participated in the blood donation camp.
Later, CGDA reviewed the functioning of CDA, Secunderabad and expressed her satisfaction for services rendered to the Defence establishments. She advised the officers to be more proactive and help the services in discharging their duties efficiently. She also emphasised that one should be accountable for the charter of duties entrusted to them.
Senior IDAS officers Shri Y Raja Reddy, Controller (IT&SDC), Shri K Venkata Rao, IFA (R&D) Hyderabad, Shri T Rambabu, CDA, Secunderabad, Dr J Sirish Choudhary, CDA (R&D) Hyderabad and other officers of the department were present on the occasion.
