On the occasion of the passing out of Ab-initio trainees of Air and Ground Streams, a Valedictory Function was conducted at Air Force Station Jalahalli in Bengaluru. 980 Airmen trainees successfully completed their training. Air Commodore CR Mohan, Commandant, Air Force Technical College, Bengaluru was the Chief Guest.
The training programme was designed to equip the trainees for future warfare, which would be short and intense, through e-learning and practical training.
The Chief Guest presented the trophies to the Best in Trade to Leading Aircraftsman Prakhar Sharma for Communication Technician Trade, Leading Aircraftsman Anshu Kumar for Electronics Fitter Trade, Leading Aircraftsman Kulbir Singh for Operations Assistant (Air Defence) Trade, Leading Aircraftsman Awanish Kumar Tiwari for Operations Assistant (Air Traffic Services) Trade, Leading Aircraftsman Mandeep Singh for Electrical Fitter (R) Ground Trade and Leading Aircraftsman Rajat Chauhan for Electrical Fitter (R) Aviation Trade. Leading Aircraftsman Anshu Kumar secured the Best All Rounder Trophy.
The Chief Guest congratulated all the passing out trainees and felicitated promising trainees who had performed well in different fields. He emphasised that the country has reposed enormous trust in each one of them to guard the Air Frontier of the Nation and reiterated the need to utilize this training in pursuance of excellence in their respective fields to achieve professional goals. The Chief Guest and all dignitaries lauded the tremendous efforts put up by the instructional staff and all those connected with the training, both directly and indirectly at the Training Institutes and Air Force Station Jalahalli.
On his arrival at the Station, the Chief Guest was received by Air Commodore S Ramakrishnan, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jalahalli.
