Army organises medical and veterinary camp at Surara, Samba
Basoli Brigade organised a Medical and Veterinary Camp for the residents of village Surara in Samba District and adjoining villages on March 17, 2018. A large number of villagers utilised the facilities provided for Medical and Dental Checkup as also the services of Veterinary Doctor for treatment of domestic Animals were optimally utilised during the Camp.
In addition to the Medical facilities, an Ex-servicemen Sahayata Kendra and a KIOSK for registration of local youth for recruitment into the Army were also established. The villagers were educated on child care, basic hygiene and sanitation during the Camp. Medicines for outpatients and livestock were provided. SDM and Sarpanch of the local village expressed their gratitude and applauded the efforts of the Army. The medical and veterinary camp was attended by civil officials from Kathua and Samba and officials of the Indian Army.
