The Indian Air Force organized an extensive publicity drive to motivate young students to join Indian Air Force in Officers cadre. A specialised Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) was used for the publicity drive to enable students to know about career opportunities available in the Indian Air Force. The IPEV is among the many new initiatives being planned with the aim of staying connected with today's tech-savvy and button-friendly generation. Launched in October 2015, it primarily is a custom modified Volvo Bus. The vehicle also has a Simulator Zone where one can experience the joy of flying various aircraft. The aircraft Model Zone displays latest aircraft in the IAF inventory with their features and videos.
