1045 Airmen Trainees Successfully Complete Training
An impressive Passing out Parade was held   at Air Force Station Jalahalli in Bengaluru on October 21, 2016. A total of 1045 airmen trainees including 47 foreign trainees successfully completed their training at this institution.  The Parade was reviewed by Air Commodore Tejbir Singh, Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Yelahanka.
The Reviewing Officer presented the trophies to the Best in Trade to Leading Aircraftsman Laxman Singh for Communication Tech Trade, Leading Aircraftsman Shivam Srivastava for Electronics Fitter Trade, Leading Aircraftsman Sachidanand Tiwari for Operations Asst (Air Defence) Trade, Leading Aircraftsman Durgesh Kumar for Operations Asst (Air Traffic Services) Trade, Leading Aircraftsman Mukul Goel for Elect Fit (R) (Aviation) Trade and Leading Aircraftsman Sunil for Elect Fit (R) (Ground) Trade.  Aircraftsman Sunil Kumar was adjudged best in General Service Training while Leading Aircraftsman Durgesh Kumar secured the Best All Rounder Trophy.
The Reviewing Officer congratulated all the passing out trainees and felicitated the award winners.  He emphasised that the country has reposed enormous trust in each one of them to guard the skies of the nation.  He reiterated the need to utilize this training in pursuance of the excellence in their respective fields and achieving bigger goals.  The Reviewing Officer and all dignitaries lauded the tremendous efforts put up by the instructional staff and all those connected with training, both directly and indirectly at the Training Institutes and Air Force Station, Jalahalli.
The parade was witnessed by personnel from Headquarters Training Command, other Indian Air Force Units, sister services, retired officers and civilian dignitaries.  Proud parents of the passing out trainees also attended the ceremony.
